This eleventh annual JDCC Community Seder will be presented in a
brand new interactive multimedia format on large projection screens for the
seventh consecutive year. Hosted by actress Marlee Matlin, DJ Kurs will lead the
Seder with Sharon Ann Dror and Joshua Soudakoff signing the songs, Rabbi Rebecca
Dubowe giving the blessings and Michael Soudakoff & Rachel Soudakoff asking the
Four Questions. The new updated version has captions throughout the whole
program.
This annual JDCC Multimedia Community Seder is open to the public and includes a
traditional kosher dinner provided by Warren Works Caterers. Both Deaf and
hearing Jewish and non-Jewish people are welcome to join us for a unique
Passover experience!
Why Multimedia? For years, Deaf people have had to look at their Haggadah books
and try to follow the leaders or sign language interpreters. JDCC decided to
develop a user-friendly Seder, allowing us to focus on the screen without having
to worry about what page we are on. We can relax at our table with family and
friends and thoroughly experience the story of Passover.
Last year, JDCC added a new feature, a 'Social Hour' that was so successful that
we will do it again this year. Social Hour will be from six to seven p.m. This
will be an opportunity for many people to catch up with old and new faces coming
from far away in Maryland, Arizona, and North California a chance to reunite
before we begin the Seder.

We are accepting donations for a special funding to enable for
people with financial hardships that would like to attend the event. To request
