I am a social worker with Jewish Big Brothers, coordinator of an experimental program matching disabled children to like disabled adults who have dealt with or are still dealing with a disability. A match involves meeting with a boy twice a month for 3 or 4 hours and providing a relationship and understanding of his disability. These relationships benefit both the boy and the Big Brother.
