I want to thank you for printing the story of the NCJD & JDC in the recent JDCC News(issue #64)... perfect timing before we head for the JDC conference in Las Vegas. Now I have clear picture of its historical background. Yes I recall its formation in the 1960's but wasn't much involved till four conferences ago.. so I am pleased I am part of JDC!!!

Thanks much for mentioning about my performing one woman show last May 17th and I am pleased that it turned to be sensational.. (attachment self-explanatory with first sentence of compliments.)

I am Harold J. Steinman's wife. I have read Issue #64 May/June 2003. I am enclosing the original story which my husband wrote and he was the first founder of NCJD. Yet, the Jewish Deaf has leave my beloved husband out, unknown to many people whom I am deeply hurt, therefore, I have many papers here and am very proud he did his share for Jewish Deaf.
