To celebrate the Jewish NewYear, JDCC News has a new face lift. We also now have our own logo!
Lisa Moore won the JDCC logo contest and will receive $50. I want to thank our other contestants for their efforts!
JDCC will have a booth during the Deaf Expo. Four volunteers will run the booth only on Sunday. We will sell Judaica and deaf-related items.
We welcome Barry Strassler who will write the Sports Column, 'Deaf Jews in Sports' starting with this issue. Welcome Aboard!
I want to thank the new three Wise Men: Ira Rothenberg, Jeff Lubman & Steven Merkin for working very hard in preparing the High Holidays program. It has been a challenge for them and they did a superb job.
JDCC has grown rapidly these past few years. Our goal now is to find a new permanent place after this year's Holiday season, JDCC will seek at possible sites for future services and events in the Pico/Robertson area.
